Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Black”
The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Black” is the fourth and final installment in the collaborative ‘Wave’ series between Nike and Amsterdam-based streetwear brand Patta, released on December 10, 2021. This iteration combines the classic Air Max 1 silhouette with a wavy mudguard and a monochromatic color scheme, offering a fresh take on an iconic design.
The upper features metallic silver mesh with black leather overlays, while the standout wavy mudguard is crafted from black lenticular leather, adding a unique texture and sheen. A mini Swoosh is embroidered on the lateral forefoot, and Patta branding appears on the tongue and insole. The midsole comes in a ‘Coconut Milk’ hue, giving a vintage aesthetic, and houses a visible Air unit for cushioning. A black and white rubber waffle outsole provides traction. The release includes special packaging and a silver bracelet featuring Patta and Nike logos.
