Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Rush Maroon”
The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Rush Maroon” is the third installment in the collaborative ‘Wave’ series between Nike and Amsterdam-based streetwear brand Patta, released on November 19, 2021. This iteration combines the classic Air Max 1 silhouette with a wavy mudguard and a striking color scheme, offering a fresh take on an iconic design.
The upper features metallic silver mesh with rich Rush Maroon leather overlays, while the standout wavy mudguard adds a unique visual element. A mini Swoosh is embroidered on the lateral forefoot, and Patta branding appears on the tongue and insole. The midsole comes in a ‘Coconut Milk’ hue, giving a vintage aesthetic, and houses a visible Air unit for cushioning. A brown rubber waffle outsole provides traction. The release included extra burgundy laces, a Patta bracelet, and a black Patta pouch in the version with accessories.
